A pair of 19thC Tibetan silver mounted copper ceremonial Teapots, of typical form, the removable domed lids with silver lotus flower finial, joined to the handle by a mesh chain, 28cm high (2)
Provenance; Col. R.L Vance RAMC (Indian Medical Service) serving in India and Tibet in the early 20thC, up until the 1930's, by family tradition having received items as personal gifts from grateful patients.

Extra Images have been uploaded to the catalogue description. Both teapots are very dirty / tarnished. One has a large dent on the top edge of the body, some silver mounts loose, the spout end on one pulls off etc., one chain with old string repair and the other has a replacement section, finials loose etc., Overall fair condition, commensurate with age and use.
